In addition, throughout the month of September, CC's Coffee Houses will collect donations for the Red Cross Hurricane Relief Fund through drop boxes at each location.

"We are proud of our employees for working closely with local volunteers and relief organizations to provide comfort to those impacted by this natural disaster," said Matthew Saurage, President of Community Coffee Company. Coffee lovers owe University of Scranton chemistry professor Joe Vinson for one more reason to keep drinking coffee. Coffee, he told the American Chemical Society’s annual convention in Washington, has more antioxidants than vegetables, fruit, and grains, hands down.

“Coffee wins the antioxidant race,” he said. “Nothing else we eat or drink comes close.”
