Coalition to Protect Hawaiian Coffee

Our heartfelt thanks to the Coalition to Protect Hawaiian Coffee (CPHC).

Mahalo to all the collaborating organizations for protecting the
Hawaii Coffee Industry from the possibility of GMO contamination from
even a field trial. Thank you for setting an example that that has been
nationally recognized.

The Rice Industry is suffering greatly right now from GMO contamination
from a field trial of Liberty Link (LL160) long rice. They have lost
Japanese and European markets. Farmers are suing. Contamination has
been found as far away as California and even in short rice.

The CPHC's actions to protect Hawaiian coffee have hopefully protected
us from the ills that the rice industry are going through.
