Happy birthday to BCE.
Our first issue went out via email May 26, 2000. We have enjoyed a fun and interesting four years, publishing this journal. We have learned much about the fascinating world of coffee, and our hope is that you have also.
Our goal in publishing this journal is still the same, to promote good coffee. We want to learn, educate, and entertain about our most wonderful beverage.
We owe our success to you, our readers. Thank you for your support.

I mistakenly deleted my first comment so here it tis again. Robert, I can remember when I raved about getting canned coffee on sale and then freezing it for the future. Now, thanks to the motivation and guidance you have provided on BCE, I am roasting my own coffee and getting away with truly fresh coffee at a fraction of what others paying at Starbucks, etc. I might even suggest that home coffee roasting is a bargain just waiting to discovered by the masses. Since gas prices have shot up, I have been staying home, roasting more coffee and reading more articles on Badgett's Coffee eJournal. In any event, thanks for the last 4 years. Please continue tossing out your beans!!!

I am another reader from the "get go" and over these four years I have learned quite about this wonderful beverage thanks to your journal. I now have aboutcoffee.net as my browser start page so I won't miss the articles you select. Keep it going and thanks for the past four years!
