SCAA Central Regional Barista Jam
Baristas Invited to Jam in Texas at Educational Seminar on Espresso, Feb. 26

LONG BEACH, Calif., Feb. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Baristas who take their craft seriously or those who want to learn more about their profession are invited to the South Central Regional Barista Jam in College Station, Tex. on Saturday, Feb. 26. The event is presented by the Specialty Coffee Association of America (SCAA) and the Barista Guild of America (BGA). The Barista Jam is open to all baristas from Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Arkansas. Baristas can jam on espresso machines and showcase their skills while they learn from other talented coffee experts from the local region. Baristas who attend will also participate in sessions focused on latte art and espresso machine maintenance, among other topics, and get a preview of the 2005 United States Barista Championship, taking place in Seattle, March 10-13.

The Barista Guild of America is a specialty trade guild of the Specialty Coffee Association of America (SCAA), consisting of professional baristas dedicated to the art and craft of coffee and espresso preparation.
